History
How We Got Our Name
Our company was started as a place for other entrepreneurs (much like ourselves) to come and transform their ideas into a successful business. Coming up with a solid company name required a lot of discussion and several cases of energy drinks. We wanted something simple and easy to remember, but it also needed meaning.
We decided Atomic (power/resource) Acorn (seed/idea) would express this goal. By combining the two, we created the premiere resource for the aspiring business entrepreneur. The tagline "power to grow your ideas" stuck instantly, and the rest is history.
Employees
Atomic Acorn is divided into three departments: Project Management – lead by Scott Smithwick, Web Development – lead by Jon Harmon, and Customer Service. The core have been here since the early brainstorming sessions that decided on the name and niche market.
